Education will be based on life and country’s needs: Shamsul Alam

A courtyard meeting was held at the initiative of Patharghata Ward No. 34 BNP under Kotwali Police Station of Chittagong Metropolitan City. Patharghata BNP organized the meeting on Saturday (October 25) night. BNP Central Executive Committee member Md. Shamsul Alam was present as the chief guest. Under the leadership of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, we believe that education is not limited to the pages of books; it should be in line with people’s lives and national needs.
He also said that the 31-point program presented by Mr. Tarique Rahman has mentioned the need to develop a knowledge-based and demand-based education system. In this, the future generation will develop as skilled, competent and creative citizens, which will accelerate the overall development of the country.
The courtyard meeting was presided over by Patharghata Ward No. 34 BNP convener Md. Hasan. Chittagong Metropolitan BNP Joint Convener Harun Zaman, 33rd Firingibazar Ward BNP President Akhtar Khan, Baklia Thana BNP Leader S. M. Selim, 17th West Baklia Ward BNP Member Secretary Mizanur Rahman Mizan and Md. Salauddin were present as special guests.
