DUCSU schedule on July 29, vote in September

The schedule of Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) will be announced on the 29th of this month and the elections may be held in the second week of September, the DUCSU Election Commission has said. DUCSU Chief Returning Officer Professor Dr. Mohammad Jasim Uddin made the announcement at a meeting at the Nawab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Building of Dhaka University on Sunday (July 20) morning. Earlier, the Election Commission held a discussion meeting on DUCSU with the presidents and general secretaries of the student organizations active in the university and the bus routes. It was decided in the meeting that this year’s DUCSU elections will be held in six centers. According to the decision, the six centers are:

1. Curzon Hall Center (examination hall) where students of Dr. Muhammad Shahidullah Hall, Amar Ekushey Hall and Fazlul Haque Hall will vote.

2. Physical Education Center where students of Jagannath Hall, Shaheed Sergeant Zahurul Haque Hall and Salimullah Muslim Hall will vote;

3. Students of Rokeya Hall, Shamsun Nahar Hall and Kabi Sufia Kamal Hall at the Student-Teacher Center

4. Students of Bangladesh-Kuwait Friendship Hall and Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Hall at the Dhaka University Club Center will be able to vote.

5. Students of Senate Bhaban Center (Alumni Floor, Seminar Room, Dining Room), Sir A.F. Rahman Hall, Haji Muhammad Mohsin Hall and Bijoy Ekattor Hall and

6. Students of Surya Sen Hall, Muktijoddha Ziaur Rahman Hall, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall and Kabi Jasim Uddin Hall at the Udayan School and College Center will be able to vote.
