DU Metro Station to be closed for 4 days.
The Metro Station at TSC of Dhaka University (DU) will be closed for four days. This information was given by the university’s Proctor, Associate Professor Saifuddin Ahmed, at a press conference at his office today, Sunday.
He said that in order to maintain external control in the university area and the overall situation on the campus normal, the Metro Station at TSC will be closed on December 16, 25 and 31 and January 1.
The Dhaka University Proctor said, “I had the opportunity to be present at a meeting of the Home Affairs Advisor on the law and order of the country. There, I proposed that the TSC Metro Station be closed on these four special days. At that time, the Communications Secretary asked the Managing Director of Metro Rail to immediately close the station for these four days.”
He also said, “We have already sent a formal letter in this regard. We can close 6 points on the road if we want. But people will come through the Metro Station. So if we make such a recommendation, it is accepted.’
