Drone attack on fuel tanks at Kuwait airport

Kuwaiti authorities said they had brought a fire under control at a fuel tank at Kuwait International Airport on Sunday morning (March 8). The news of the fire coming under control came minutes after Kuwait’s Interior Ministry announced the deaths of two border security personnel this morning.
The country’s military said the airport’s fuel tanks were targeted in a drone attack.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Defense told the military’s X-Post that fuel tanks at Kuwait International Airport were targeted by drones, a direct attack on vital infrastructure. The spokesman said the armed forces were dealing with “waves of enemy drones” violating the country’s airspace.
