Dr. Zahid to give latest update on Khaleda Zia’s treatment at noon

Former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia’s latest treatment was officially announced by party standing committee member and Khaleda Zia’s personal physician Professor Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain. This information was given in a message sent by BNP today (December 4).
The message said that the treatment of former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia will be discussed in front of the gate of Bashundhara Evercare Hospital at 12 noon today. Earlier, Khaleda Zia was taken to Evercare Hospital in the capital last Sunday night. She is undergoing treatment under the supervision of the hospital’s specialist physician Professor Shahabuddin Talukder.
The doctor said that her physical condition is stable. She is now in the hospital’s CCU. She needs time to fully recover. Khaleda Zia’s eldest son Tarique Rahman and his wife Dr. Zubaida Rahman are keeping a close eye on her physical condition from London. In addition, Syeda Shamila Rahman Sinthi, wife of her younger son, the late Arafat Rahman Koko, is by Khaleda Zia’s side in Dhaka. Meanwhile, leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliated organizations and their followers held prayer mahfils at various places, wishing for Khaleda Zia’s recovery.
