Dr. Mohammad Nurul Ahsan Mamun a gifted son of Chittagong is no more.

Dr. Mohammad Nurul Ahsan Mamun (71) a gifted son of Chittagong, an alumnus of Harvard Medical School and an active member of the Medford Islamic Cultural Center (ICCM) in Boston, USA, is no more.

He passed away on the night of December 2, US time, at Emerson Hospital in Concord (Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun).

Dr. Mohammad Nurul Ahsan Mamun served as the Chief Medical Officer of the Chittagong City Corporation and a teacher at Chittagong Medical College. He had been living in the Boston area since 1980.

Dr. Mohammad Nurul Ahsan Mamun, the son of a famous doctor from Mirsarai Upazila Sadar, also served as the Executive Vice President of the Harvard Medical School Alumni Association.

The Medford Islamic Cultural Center (ICCM) confirmed this sad news and expressed its deepest condolences and sympathy to his family members and prayed for the peace and forgiveness of the departed soul.
