Discussions underway with various countries to address energy situation
State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaid said that there is no crisis regarding energy so far, but the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is continuing diplomatic discussions with various countries to address future situations. She made these comments at a briefing at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday (March 31) afternoon.
Shama Obaid also said that energy is being imported from various countries including Saudi Arabia. Discussions are underway with various countries including the United States and Russia regarding energy imports.
She said that energy imports from Malaysia, Indonesia and India have already started and the United States has banned energy imports from Russia. Dhaka is also continuing diplomatic discussions on these issues.
