Special discount on tickets for students.
A concert titled ‘Echoes of Revolution’ is going to be held at the Army Stadium in the capital Dhaka on December 21 to support the families of the martyrs and injured in the July-August uprising.
Renowned Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan will perform at the concert. As a mark of respect to the role of students in the July Revolution, the organisers are offering special discounts of 16 to 36 per cent for students buying tickets from the first hour of Victory Day, on December 16.
Tickets for this concert are being sold in three categories, according to a press release. First, the price of ‘VIP’ tickets is 10,000 taka. The buyers of these can sit in front of the stage and enjoy the program. In this regard, to mark ‘Victory Day’ on December 16, a 16 percent discount is being extended to students, making 8,400 taka, including the discount. Secondly, the price of the ‘Front Row’ ticket is 4,500 taka. The purchasers of this ticket can enjoy the concert from the front row.
This year, students have been given a 24 percent discount (including discount) in memory of the year of the mass uprising ‘2024’. In this case, ‘General’ tickets cost 2,500 taka. The buyers of the ‘General’ ticket will get a chance to enjoy the concert from the back row.
It is offering a 36 percent discount for students in commemoration of ‘July 36’. The event is being organized by the ‘Spirits of July’ platform.
