    Devotees from 41 districts are participating in the first phase of Biswa Ijtema

    The 58th Bishwa Ijtema is starting in Tongi, Gazipur next Friday. In the first phase, the Ijtema will be held in two phases under the Shura-e-Nizam. In the first phase, devotees from 41 districts will participate and in the second phase, devotees from 22 districts will participate.

    Eight days after the end of the first and second phases, i.e. on February 14, the followers of Saad will organize the third phase of the Bishwa Ijtema.

    In this regard, Habibullah Raihan, media coordinator of Tablighi Jamaat Bangladesh Shura-e-Nizam, said that this year’s Ijtema is going to be held in two phases under the supervision of the Ulama-e-Keram. The first phase will be held on January 31 and February 1, 2 and the second phase on February 3, 4, 5.

    Devotees from Gazipur, Tongi, Dhamrai, Gaibandha, Mirpur, Kakrail, Natore, Moulvibazar, Rajshahi, Dohar, Demra, Narail, Thakurgaon, Lalmonirhat, Nawabganj, Nilphamari, Dinajpur, Rangpur, Bogra, Narayanganj, Barisal, Bhola, Chuadanga, Kushtia, Jessore, Magura, Bagerhat, Satkhira, Mymensingh, Chittagong, Netrokona, Sherpur, Faridpur, Habiganj, Sunamganj, Feni, Lakshmipur, Chandpur, B. Baria, Khulna, Patuakhali, Comilla, Jhenaidah, Chapainawabganj, Pirojpur, Kurigram, Panchagarh, Rajbari districts will participate in the first phase.

    Devotees from Jatrabari, Keraniganj, Mohammadpur, Munshiganj, Jamalpur, Manikganj, Joypurhat, Sylhet, Sirajganj, Meherpur, Tangail, Pabna, Narsingdi, Savar, Kishoreganj, Cox’s Bazar, Noakhali, Gopalganj, Jhalokati, Barguna, Madaripur, Shariatpur, Khagrachhari, Rangamati, Naogaon, Bandarban districts are participating in the second phase. However, in this phase, devotees from 22 districts including a part of Dhaka will participate.

    It is to be noted that the 2025 Bishwa Ijtema will end with the final prayer on Sunday, February 16.
