Dengue situation: 3 more deaths, 580 new patients admitted

Three people have died of dengue, the Aedes mosquito-borne disease, in the last 24 hours. In addition, 580 more people have been admitted to the hospital due to dengue fever during this period. This information was given in a report sent from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Sunday (September 7). Among the three dead are two men and one woman. The report said that from 8 am yesterday Saturday to 8 am today Saturday, 94 people in Chittagong division, 85 each in Dhaka North City Corporation and Dhaka division, 80 in Dhaka South City Corporation, 55 in Rajshahi division, 32 in Khulna division, 17 in Mymensingh division, 3 in Rangpur division and one in Sylhet division were admitted to the hospital due to dengue. It is worth noting that 135 people have died of dengue so far this year. In addition, 34,411 people have been admitted to the hospital due to dengue so far this year.
