Dengue kills 4 people, including a child, in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, 4 people, including a girl and a woman, have died of dengue in the country. With this, 343 people have died of dengue so far this year. In addition, 920 people have been admitted to hospitals due to dengue in the last 24 hours. This information was given in a notification sent from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Tuesday (November 18).
The notification said that in the last 24 hours (from 8 am yesterday to 8 am today), out of 920 dengue patients, 146 were admitted in Barisal division, 116 in Chittagong division (outside the City Corporation), 147 in Dhaka division (outside the City Corporation), 211 in Dhaka North city, 151 in Dhaka South city, 72 in Khulna division (outside the City Corporation), 65 in Mymensingh division (outside the City Corporation), two in Rangpur division (outside the City Corporation) and 10 in Sylhet division (outside the City Corporation) were admitted. According to the information of the Directorate General of Health, 945 dengue patients have been discharged from hospitals across the country in the last 24 hours. Of these, 83,597 have been discharged this year. The Directorate General of Health said that so far this year, 86,924 patients have been admitted to hospitals due to dengue.
