Current dengue situation not worrisome: DSCC Administrator

Dhaka South City Corporation Administrator Md. Mahmudul Hasan said that mosquito control activities have been strengthened to control dengue. However, the current dengue situation is not worrisome. He said this at a special cleanliness and mosquito control campaign at Shanir Akhra in the capital on Saturday (November 15) morning.
He said that fines are not a solution to prevent Aedes larvae. This requires public awareness. Regular campaigns are being conducted to increase awareness about preventing Aedes larvae. As part of this, 400 cleaning workers participated in the campaign in the Akhra area today. He said that such campaigns will continue to regularly clean the canals and sewers of the South City Corporation.
