Cumilla division will be implemented within a month if 11-party coalition government is formed: Asif
Cumilla division will be implemented within a month if 11-party coalition government is formed in the upcoming 13th National Parliament election, said Jatiya Nagorik Party (NCP) spokesperson Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan. He said, if elected, the deprivations that Comilla was deprived of in various ways in the past will end. The projects that were taken up during the interim government will also be implemented quickly and more new projects will be taken up.
He spoke at the NCP election roadshow at the ‘Muktijuddho Chattar’ in the New Market area of Debidwar Sadar, Comilla on Wednesday (January 28) afternoon. Asif said, after the mass uprising, we expected a participatory and fair election. However, we can see that we have seen bias in validating the nominations of loan defaulters and foreign nationals in the first stage of the nomination verification phase. We have seen that foreign nationals are being nominated by talking about nationalism, first about Bangladesh.
Earlier, in the afternoon, Asif Mahmud said at a rally in Comilla’s Debidwar, “You were in London for 17 years, first get off the bus. Walk the streets of Bangladesh for a while, first get to know this country. Then we can believe that you can do something for the people of this country.” He also said, “After 17 years of dictatorship and oppression, the people of the country are now being subjected to a new kind of oppression. A group is trying to isolate itself from the people and dominate them again.”
