CTSB member caught with 10,000 yaba pills

The Lohagara Police Station has arrested Munirul Islam, a member of the special branch of the police, from Chunati in Lohagara, Chittagong, with 10,000 pieces of Yaba. He was arrested from Chunati area on Wednesday (August 20) afternoon. At that time, a motorcycle used for transporting drugs was seized. The arrested Munirul Islam is working in the Chittagong Metropolitan Police. His village home is in Ukhia, Cox’s Bazar. Lohagara Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Arifur Rahman confirmed the truth of the incident. He said that while he was going towards Chittagong city on a motorcycle, the patrolling police stopped Munirul Islam and searched him. At that time, 10,000 pieces of Yaba were recovered from him.
