CoU Oli Ullah secures first place in 49th BCS

Md. Oli Ullah, a student of the 2016-17 academic year of the Mathematics Department of Comilla University (CUBI), has secured first place in the 49th BCS (Special) examination on the basis of merit. The entire university family, including the teachers and students of the Mathematics Department of Comilla University, is happy with his success.
Oli Ullah obtained his master’s degree from the Mathematics Department of Comilla University in 2023. He started preparing for BCS from mid-2022. As a result of his relentless work and perseverance, he secured first place in the Mathematics Department in the Education Cadre.
After completing his academic career, he started teaching at CCN Science and Technology University located in Kotbari, Comilla in early 2024. He is currently working as a lecturer in the Mathematics Department of Hamdard University Bangladesh.
Oli Ullah, while expressing his feelings, said, ‘Alhamdulillah!’ My hard work was not in vain. I came first in the Education Cadre. I think it is because of the prayers of my parents, sisters, teachers, classmates, seniors and juniors, my hard work and the grace of Allah that I was able to secure the first place in Mathematics in the Education Cadre in the 49th BCS.’
Regarding the preparation for the BCS exam, he said, ‘The biggest shortcut is to study as much as possible. To survive in the midst of a huge syllabus and numerous competitors, you have to prepare yourself exceptionally. You have to pay attention to every step of the preliminary, retake and viva exams without relying on shortcut advice.’
He further said, ‘Keeping in mind the words of your parents, you have to start the marathon journey with the name of Allah. Because, BCS is a long-term competition.’ Seeking prayers from everyone in the Comilla University family, Oli Ullah said, ‘I ask for prayers so that I can fulfill my acquired responsibilities with honesty and devotion.’
