Chittagong’s coach Tait arrives in Bangladesh.
Chittagong Kings have returned to the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) after a long 9 years. The franchise, which participated in the first two seasons of the tournament, has appointed former Australian star Shaun Tait as its head coach this time.
The 11th edition of the BPL is going to start from December 30. This time too, 7 teams are participating in the tournament like last time.
Tait arrived in Bangladesh on Tuesday for the upcoming BPL. If everything goes well, his team will be seen in field practice from December 27.
Earlier, in addition to Shakib Al Hasan and Shariful Islam, the Chattala franchise has added Moeen Ali and Angelo Mathews to the team in the foreign category.
Chittagong has added Shahid Afridi as their ‘brand ambassador’. This former Pakistani star cricketer was involved with the BPL from the beginning.
Chittagong has also appointed Canadian model-actress, fitness influencer and cricket presenter Yesha Sagar as the ‘official host’ (presenter) of the upcoming BPL.
