Child killed in Myanmar firing in Teknaf
A Bangladeshi child has been killed in firing from Myanmar across the Hoa Kyung border in Teknaf, Cox’s Bazar. Several other members of the Myanmar rebel group were injured in the incident. 64-BGB Commander Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Zahirul Islam confirmed this information to the media on Sunday (January 11) morning.
It is learned that there was a massive firing incident inside Myanmar between the Arakan Army and other armed groups. At that time, the child was killed in firing from across the border. The name and identity of the girl were not immediately known. BGB sources said that the incident took place this morning in the border area of Hoa Kyung Union in Teknaf. The commander of 64 BGB is monitoring the scene. Patrols have also been strengthened.
