Chief of Army Staff meets Chief Justice

Chief of Army Staff General Waqar-uz-Zaman held a meeting with Chief Justice of Bangladesh Dr. Syed Refaat Ahmed. The meeting was held at the Chief Justice’s Gulshan residence on Sunday (August 31). However, the topics discussed were not immediately known. On the other hand, at about the same time, a few kilometers away, at the State Guest House Jamuna, Principal Staff Officer (PSO) of the Armed Forces Division (AFD) Lieutenant General S. M. Kamrul Hasan met with the Chief Advisor to the Interim Government Dr. Muhammad Yunus. However, the reason for this meeting or the topics discussed in the meeting was not immediately known. It is worth noting that the Armed Forces Division is directly managed under the office of the Chief Advisor. The Principal Staff Officer (PSO) of this division is responsible for various important responsibilities, including coordinating the activities of the three forces.
