Chief Justice visited The Maizbhandar Darbar Sharif.
Chief Justice of Bangladesh Dr. Syed Refat Ahmed visited the historical Maizbhandar Darbar Sharif in Fatikchhari on Saturday (January 18) morning. He visited the Darbar Sharif with the founder of Maizbhandar Adhyatma Sharafat, Gausul Azam Hazrat Maulana Shahsufi Syed Ahmed Ullah (A) Maizbhandari, Hazrat Gausul Azam Shahsufi Syed Gholamur Rahman (A) Maizbhandari, Shahsufi Syed Abul Bashar Maizbhandari, Shahsufi Syed Ziaul Haque Maizbhandari and his sister’s father-in-law Syed Farid Uddin Ahmed Maizbhandari, and his sister’s second-in-law Shahsufi Syed Moin Uddin Ahmed Maizbhandari (A) and sought blessings for the welfare of the country and the world. At this time, the prayer was led by Syed Emdadul Haque Maizbhandari, Syed Saifuddin Ahmed Maizbhandari, Syed Farhad Ahmed Maizbhandari, Syed Mohammad Hasan Maizbhandari. Among the children present at this time were Syed Shahidul Haque Maizbhandari, the Chief Justice’s sister-in-law Syed Farhad Uddin Maizbhandari, Shahzada Syed Shahadat Uddin Maizbhandari, Shahzada Syed Zubair Ahmed Maizbhandari, Ed. Shahzada Syed Miftahun Noor Maizbhandari, Shahzada Syed Nazrul Huda Maizbhandari, Shahzada Syed Nazimuddin Maizbhandari, Shahzada Syed Irfanul Haque Maizbhandari, Shahzada Syed Rubab Maizbhandari. Also present were the Registrar General of the Supreme Court, Dr. Aziz Ahmed Bhuiyan, Chief Justice’s Private Secretary Md. Shariful Alam Bhuiyan, Special Officer Md. Moazzem Hossain, Chittagong District and Sessions Judge Md. Saiful Islam, Chittagong Metropolitan Sessions Judge Md. Nurul Islam, Fatikchhari Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Mozammel Haque Chowdhury, Fatikchhari Court LGP Advocate Muhammad Nasrat Alam Babar, along with the children of Maizbhandar Sharif and prominent figures were present at the time.
The Chief Justice said, “Islam is the messenger of peace and harmony. The Awliya-e-Karam has propagated the humanitarian ideals left by the beloved Prophet (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam). The Awliya-e-Karam of Maizbhandar Sharif has played a leading role in teaching the soil and people of this country about equality and human love.”
Later Syed Saifuddin Ahmed Maizbhandari Shajjadanshin of Maizbhandari Darbar Sharif presented the Chief Justice with various commemorative books and crests of the Maizbhandari order.
