Chief Justice pays courtesy call on President

Chief Justice Zubair Rahman Chowdhury paid a courtesy call on President Md. Shahabuddin. The meeting was held at Bangabhaban today, Wednesday (January 14). This information was given by the President’s Office.
During the meeting, the Chief Justice informed the President in detail about the overall activities of the country’s judiciary and the current status of the judicial process.
President Md. Shahabuddin emphasized on further strengthening the independence, impartiality and efficiency of the country’s judiciary. He wished the Chief Justice continued success in ensuring justice and assured possible cooperation from the President’s Office in the development of the judiciary. Senior officials of the President’s Office were present at the time.
