    Chief Advisor is visiting Switzerland.

    The Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus is leaving for Switzerland tomorrow, Monday to attend the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual conference. This information was given by the Chief Advisor’s Deputy Press Secretary, Abul Kalam Azad Majumdar, at a briefing at the Foreign Service Academy on Sunday evening.

    He said that the Chief Advisor will leave for the country on a 4-day visit tomorrow, Monday night. During the visit, he will attend the World Economic Forum annual conference in Davos.

    The World Economic Forum annual conference will be held in Davos, Switzerland from January 20-24.

    Apart from participating in the conference, the Chief Advisor will hold bilateral meetings with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Belgian King Philippe, and Thai Prime Minister Phatthana Shinawatra on the sidelines of the forum in Davos.

    In addition to Amnesty International Secretary General Agnes Callamard, several heads of organizations, CEOs and chairmen of various companies and entrepreneurs will meet the Chief Advisor. He is also scheduled to give interviews to several international media outlets. After completing all the formalities, Dr. Yunus is scheduled to leave Davos for Dhaka on January 24.

    Assistant Press Secretaries Suchismita Tithi and Naeem Ali were also present at the briefing.
