Chief Advisor urges US companies to invest more in Bangladesh
Chief Advisor Professor Muhammad Yunus has urged US companies to invest more in Bangladesh.
He made the call at the US-Bangladesh Executive Business Roundtable held in New York on Wednesday (September 24). The discussion was organized by the US-Bangladesh Business Council (USBBC) and was titled ‘Advancing Reform, Resilience and Growth’.
At the event, the Chief Advisor urged leading US companies including MetLife, Chevron and Excelerate to seize new investment opportunities in Bangladesh.
The Chief Advisor’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam later informed reporters at a press briefing.
Shafiqul Alam said that six Bangladeshi political leaders who were visiting the US with the Chief Advisor were present at the meeting and were introduced to top US businessmen.
