Chief Advisor to distribute health cards among injured of July Revolution on the first day of the year.

Health cards will be distributed among the injured of July Revolution on the first day of the new year. This afternoon, Chief Advisor to the interim government Dr. Muhammad Yunus will distribute the cards among them.

The information has been provided by Mohammad Shahadat Hossain, Senior Information Officer of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, in a press release on Tuesday.

He said, “Health cards for the injured fighters of July will be issued by the Ministry of Health on the first day of the year,1 January. At 5 pm on that day, the Chief Advisor will hand over the health cards to the injured at the State Guest House Jamuna.”

Earlier, a meeting of 6 advisors was held with the injured in the meeting room of the Ministry of Health at the Secretariat on November 14. Later, Special Assistant to the Chief Advisor Dr. Sayedur Rahman said that unique ID cards will be given to those injured in the July-August mass uprising to ensure free lifetime medical care.

Dr. Sayedur Rahman said, “The injured soldiers will get unique ID cards. All the government institutions will give them free services throughout their lives. They will get free services from the private hospitals also with which the government has agreements.

He said, there will be a support center after November 17. All kinds of solutions will be tried from there. All government hospitals will have dedicated beds for the treatment of the injured. All hospitals in Dhaka will be brought under a network.
