Chief Advisor to Announce Election Date in 4-5 Days: Mustafa Jamal

Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus will announce the date of the national election in the next four to five days, said Jatiya Party (Kazi Jafar) Chairman Mustafa Jamal Haider. On Saturday (July 26) afternoon, representatives of 14 political parties met with the Chief Advisor at the State Guest House Jamuna on several contemporary issues including the current law and order situation in the country, elections, etc. After the meeting, the leaders of the political parties came out one by one. At this time, the leaders of some political parties said that the Chief Advisor will announce the date of the election along with the announcement of the July Charter. The leaders of the political parties also said that fascists must be expelled from government institutions, otherwise there may be obstacles to a fair election. Several political parties have also objected to the establishment of the United Nations Human Rights Commission office in the country. The Chairman of the Jatiya Party (Kazi Jafar) said, ‘Elections will solve the anarchy. Many problems will be solved through elections. The chief advisor said that he will announce the election date in the next four to five days. There can be no happier message than this.’ Nationalist Democratic Movement (NDM) Chairman Bobby Hajjaj said that 8 recommendations have been given by the NDM. The chief advisor blamed the allies of the previous government for the ongoing unrest in the country. The chief advisor confirmed that the details of the election date process along with the July charter will be announced very soon. Bobby Hajjaj also said that all political parties will work together to deal with the unrest in the country. The chief advisor said that there was a deficiency in the intelligence report regarding the attack on the secretariat.
