Chief Advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus Inqilab Manch spokesperson Sharif Osman Hadi has handed over the deed and keys of a flat to his family. This information was given in a press release sent by the Chief Advisor’s press wing on Tuesday (February 10). It said that the National Housing Authority handed over the deed and keys of the ready-made flat at the State Guest House Jamuna in the capital’s Lalmatia area in the presence of Osman Hadi’s wife and some family members.
Housing and Public Works Advisor Adilur Rahman Khan, Information Advisor Syeda Rezwana Hasan, Secretary of the Ministry of Housing and Public Works Md. Nazrul Islam and National Housing Authority Chairman Ferdousi Begum were present at the time.
Incidentally, on December 12, the day after the announcement of the schedule for the upcoming 13th National Parliament Election and Referendum, miscreants shot and killed him in the Box Culvert Road area of ​​Paltan Model Police Station in Dhaka. From there, he was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital and later to Evercare Hospital. He was then taken to Singapore for advanced treatment, where he died on the night of December 18. The chief advisor had initially promised to take responsibility for his family. Therefore, the government has decided to provide a total of Tk 2 crore financial assistance to his family. Out of this, Tk 1 crore will be provided to buy a flat in Dhaka and another Tk 1 crore will be provided as livelihood assistance.
