Chief Advisor inaugurates Navy and Air Force Selection Board-2025

Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus inaugurated the Navy and Air Force Selection Board-2025. He formally inaugurated the two selection boards at the Navy Headquarters in the morning. Through this ceremony, the formal process of promoting officers from Navy Captain to Commodore, Commander to Captain and Lt. Commander to Commander and Air Force Group Captain to Air Commodore, Wing Commander to Group Captain and Squadron Leader to Wing Commander began. This board, consisting of military officers at the highest policy-making level, will select qualified and skilled officers for the future senior leadership of the Navy and Air Force, subject to the approval of the government. At the beginning of the ceremony, a minute’s silence was observed in memory of those who died in the tragic plane crash that took place at Milestone School and College. The relevant military and civil promotion officials were present at the inauguration ceremony of the Navy and Air Force Election Boards.
