    Chief Advisor arrives in Dubai

    Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus has arrived in Dubai, United Arab Emirates on a two-day visit to attend the World Government Summit. He arrived in Dubai at 11:15 pm local time on Wednesday. The Chief Advisor’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam confirmed this information.

    Earlier, Dr. Muhammad Yunus left Dhaka for the Emirates at 7:45 pm to attend the World Government Summit 2025.

    Upon his arrival in Dubai, the Chief Advisor was welcomed by UAE Sports Minister Ahmed Belhoul Al Falasi. He thanked the Chief Advisor for attending the World Government Summit and informed about the international reputation of the conference over the past decade.

    During the meeting, they discussed the possibilities of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of sports and culture and various issues of mutual interest. The meeting was attended by Foreign Affairs Advisor Touhid Hossain, Bangladesh Ambassador to the UAE Tarek Ahmed and UAE Ambassador to Dhaka Abdullah Ali Khasef Al Hamoudi.

    It is worth noting that on January 13, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, invited the Chief Advisor to join the conference. He accepted the invitation and decided to join the summit.

    This year’s conference aims to strengthen the relationship between the government and the people by enhancing effective partnerships, global exchange and cooperation between governments. The participation of the Chief Advisor will provide an opportunity to present his perspective on addressing global challenges as well as highlight Bangladesh’s position on international issues.
