Charger explosion sets four houses on fire in Chapainawabganj
Four houses caught fire in Bholahat, Chapainawabganj after a mobile phone charger exploded. A fire broke out in Poladanga village of the upazila around 2 pm yesterday, Sunday (February 15). This news has been confirmed by the Bholahat Fire Service.
According to local and eyewitness sources, Ziaur Rahman was charging his mobile phone at his house in Poladanga village when the charger suddenly exploded. The fire spread to the house in an instant. At that time, the neighbors shouted and tried to control the fire. However, due to the intensity of the fire, it quickly spread to the houses of Tariqul Islam and Chandu Begum. Upon receiving the information, a unit of the Bholahat Fire Service quickly reached the spot and brought the fire under control with the help of locals.
Krishna Prasad Talapatra, acting station master of Bholahat Fire Service Station, said that initially it is believed that the fire started due to an electrical short circuit or a charger explosion. He also said that the fire caused extensive damage to four families.
