BSF returns a youth after 7 hours of detention at Hili border
The BSF has returned a youth after 7 hours of detention on charges of infiltration through the Hili border in Dinajpur. After a meeting between the BGB and BSF on Wednesday night (February 25), the BSF handed over the youth through the station area of the Hili border. His name is Ripon Sarkar. He is the son of the deceased Azgar Sarkar of Shailan village in Birampur upazila of Dinajpur.
BGB’s Hili CP Company Commander Alauddin said that yesterday afternoon, the mentally unstable youth mistakenly entered India through the station area of the Hili border and was caught by BSF members. After learning about the matter, the BGB discussed with the BSF members and arranged for his release. The BGB released the youth and handed him over to the police station. The police have given the youth to the custody of his family.
