The victim shopkeeper Junaid said that he was opening the shop as usual and doing bKash transactions. In the afternoon, a young man named Tamjid from the Boubazar area came and sent 1,500 taka to a number. After a while, he returned to the shop and asked for a loan of 500 taka under the guise of a story.

A while ago, a customer at the shop had sent 20,000 taka to bKash. Suddenly, Tamjid snatched the money from the cash and ran away. Despite my many attempts, he managed to escape.
He also said that the accused Tamjid is a known drug addict and robber in the Boubazar area. He has demanded money from me before, beaten me, and threatened me.
Ramzan Ali, the proprietor of ‘Naeem Telecom’, said, “I have been running a shop here since 2017. I was taking a bath at home when the incident happened.
