BNP workers have uprooted the railway line in Gafargaon, Mymensingh. Two coaches of the Dhaka-bound Agniveena Express train, including the engine, have derailed. No casualties have been reported in this incident so far. Today, Monday (December 29), at 5:10 am, miscreants removed about 20 feet of the railway line in the Janmejoy area before entering Gafargaon station.
Gafargaon Railway Station Master Hanif confirmed this information. He said, I have not been able to reach the spot yet. However, the Railway Security Force has said that two coaches of the Dhaka-bound Agniveena Express train, which left from Tarakandi, have derailed along with the engine. No casualties have been reported in this incident so far.
Mymensingh Inspector of the Railway Security Force Md. Sirajul Islam said, two coaches of the Dhaka-bound Agniveena Express train, which left from Tarakandi, have derailed along with the engine due to the displacement of the 20-foot railway line. Railway security forces are trying to control the situation at the scene. It is worth noting that Aktaruzzaman Bachchu received BNP’s party nomination for Mymensingh-10 (Gafargaon) constituency on Saturday (December 27) afternoon. After this, when the matter became known, the workers of the leaders who were deprived of nomination started a movement.
