BNP will not engage in confrontational politics: Amir Khasru

Party standing committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury has said that no matter what others do, BNP will not engage in confrontational politics. He said this at a program organized by DAB at Bangladesh Medical College Hospital on Sunday (November 23) afternoon.
Khasru said that Tarique Rahman is giving importance to stability in the country. He emphasized various issues to ensure healthcare at the program. He urged BNP to take initiatives and spread it to the people of the country.
At the time, he also said that BNP has promised employment to one crore people if it comes to power because they are ambitious. He further commented that we have to move towards merit-based politics to form a new Bangladesh.
Meanwhile, at a discussion meeting at the National Press Club, BNP Chairperson’s Advisor Zainul Abdin Faruk called for testing popularity in elections instead of irrational movements and conspiracies targeting Jamaat-e-Islami. He said that a party allied with the Awami League is conspiring to sabotage the Bangladesh elections. He also called on the Indian government to send Sheikh Hasina back under the prisoner exchange agreement. Also, in the morning, Rizvi Ahmed joined a prayer meeting seeking forgiveness for the soul of BNP National Executive Committee member Saiful Islam Patu.
