BNP will go to UN if necessary for Teesta water
BNP Joint Secretary General Syed Emran Saleh Prince has warned that BNP will go to the United Nations if necessary for a fair share of Teesta water. He said, ‘By not giving a share of Teesta water, India is depriving the people of Bangladesh of their right to international river water.’
He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at a public meeting organized by the Saidpur District BNP at Tamanna More, Saidpur yesterday afternoon.
This public meeting was held as per the program announced by the Center to demand prevention of the rise in prices of daily necessities, improvement of the law and order situation, announcement of the roadmap for the national elections, trial of the masters and accomplices of Awami fascism and foiling their conspiracies.
The rally held under the chairmanship of Syedpur Political District BNP President Principal Abdul Gafur Sarkar was addressed by BNP Chairperson’s Advisory Council member music artist Baby Nazneen, BNP’s Joint Organizing Secretary Aminul Islam, former MP Bilkis Islam, District BNP General Secretary Shahin Akhter, Vice President Advocate Obaidur Rahman, Ziaul Haque Zia, Joint Secretary Ershad Hossain Pappu, Organizing Secretary Anwar Hossain Pramanik, District Jubo Dal Convener Tarek Aziz, District Chhatra Dal President Hossain Arman, and others.
Emran Saleh Prince said at the public rally, ‘Six months have passed since the fall of Awami Fascism, but the desired reform and election roadmap has not been found. The prices of daily necessities have not come within the purchasing power of the people, the market syndicate is still in force. The law and order situation has not improved. Anarchy is going on in the name of mob justice, extortion continues.
