BNP wants to trust government to hold fair elections: Gayeshwar

BNP standing committee member Gayeshwar Chandra Roy is expecting a specific statement from the interim government on changes to the July Charter. He said that BNP wants to trust the government to hold fair elections.
He said this after paying homage at Ziaur Rahman’s tomb this Sunday (November 2) morning. Gayeshwar said that some clauses of the July Charter have been changed. The interim government is still silent on this issue.
Regarding the elections, this BNP leader said that he has met the chiefs and chief advisors of the three services – if the people go to vote, then there is no chance of spoiling the elections. On behalf of the party, he said that BNP trusts the government for fair, free and impartial elections. Gayeshwar also commented that BNP will come to power in the coming days, so efforts are being made to make BNP controversial.
