BNP postpones ‘Mashal Road Show’ during Vijaya month

BNP has postponed the previously announced ‘Vijay Mashal Road Show’ program due to the illness of party chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia. The party’s Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi gave this information at an emergency press conference in Nayapaltan on Sunday (November 30).
He said, ‘The latest I heard today is that there has been no change in the chairperson’s physical condition. I heard from her doctors that there has been no deterioration (in her physical condition), but we have not received any news that it has improved much. Moreover, the medical board has not yet advised her to go abroad.’
Rizvi hoped that Khaleda Zia would recover soon. He urged party leaders and activists, including the public, to pray for her recovery. As part of the Victory Day celebrations, Rizvi announced that the party’s 15-day program would be postponed. Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said, ‘The Bijay Mashal program during Vijaya month has been postponed. Rather, the countrymen and party leaders and activists are praying for the BNP Chairperson’s recovery, and that will continue.
