BNP-Jamaat supporters clash in Chittagong

A fight and chase took place between BNP and Jamaat supporters in Khulshi, Chittagong city. The incident took place in the city’s Mango Garden area on Tuesday (January 27) night.
However, the leaders of the two parties have counter-accused each other in this incident. BNP said that Jamaat supporters vandalized the Arafat Rahman Koko Memorial Parliament Office, threw bricks and stones and attacked BNP leaders and activists. Jamaat claimed that BNP leaders and activists launched an ambush at an election rally. Seven party members were injured in this. However, the police have not arrested anyone in this incident.
