Banned Chhatra League leader arrested while collecting certificate at Eden College

Boishakhi, the organizing secretary of the banned organization Chhatra League’s Eden College branch, has been arrested. On Tuesday afternoon, she was first detained by ordinary students inside the college. Later, members of the Lalbagh police station came and arrested her.

It is learned that Boishakhi came to Eden College to collect her honors certificate this afternoon. At that time, ordinary students recognized her and detained her inside the college. Later, they informed the Lalbagh police station and the police came and arrested Boishakhi.

Confirming the arrest of the Chhatra League leader this afternoon, Lalbagh police station officer-in-charge (OC) Kashino said, “Boishakhi, the organizing secretary of the banned organization Chhatra League’s Eden College branch, has been arrested. We have come to know that she went to the college to collect her certificate. Later, the students detained her and informed the police. The police arrested her and brought her to the police station.”
