Bangladeshi worker buried underground, rescued after almost two hours

A Bangladeshi worker has been in a major accident in Malaysia. He was buried underground while installing a pipe. However, his life was ultimately saved by the efforts of rescuers. Rescue officials said that a Bangladeshi worker who was buried underground while installing a sewage pipe in the Tech Park Industrial Area of ​​Bandar Baru Nilai, Negri Sembilan state, Malaysia, was successfully rescued on Monday (July 7). A rescue official said that they received an emergency phone call at 7:44 pm on Monday. After that, a rescue team was sent to the scene. The official also said that the rescue team reached the accident site at 8:03 pm and started the rescue operation. The Bangladeshi worker was safely rescued after about an hour and a half at 9:28 pm. After being rescued, he was taken to the hospital for treatment.
