Bangladeshi died in an Israeli air strike in Lebanon
A Bangladeshi named Mohammad Nizam (31) was died in an Israeli airstrike in Lebanon.
He was died when Israel launched an unannounced attack on a residential building on Saturday afternoon. Israel carried out several rounds of airstrikes on the southern part of the Lebanese capital Beirut on Saturday. Many were injured. Nizam lost his life at that time.
The deceased Mohammad Nizam is the son of Mohammad Abdul Quddus of Kharera area of Kasba Upazila in Brahmanbaria.
According to the sources of the Bangladesh Embassy in Lebanon, Nizam was died on the spot after being hit by an airstrike on his way to work in the Hazmiye area of Beirut on Saturday afternoon. Currently, his body is in a local hospital mortuary.
Nizam went to Lebanon 12 years ago in search of livelihood. Efforts are underway to bring his body home.
Mohammad Anwar Hossain, First Secretary (Labor) of the Bangladesh Embassy in Beirut confirmed the news of his death. He said he was waiting at a coffee shop in the afternoon. He was died in an Israeli airstrike at that time.
