Bangladesh welcomes US-Israel-Iran ceasefire

Bangladesh has welcomed the temporary ceasefire announced in the ongoing US-Israel-Iran conflict. This information was given in a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday (April 8).
It said that Bangladesh considers this ceasefire as an encouraging development in the reduction of tensions in the Middle East. Furthermore, Bangladesh expresses the hope that all parties concerned will respect this ceasefire in the interest of lasting peace and stability in the entire region and will use it constructively to move towards a permanent and sustainable solution.
It further said that Bangladesh expressed gratitude to all parties who supported the diplomatic efforts to implement this ceasefire. Furthermore, Bangladesh believes that all disputes can and should be resolved peacefully through dialogue and diplomacy.
