RSS-backed procession towards Bangladesh High Commission in Delhi.
The Civil Society of Delhi has held a protest march towards the Bangladesh High Commission in Delhi, India, in support of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), an affiliate of India’s ruling BJP party. The march started from Tin Murti Chowk of Chanakyapuri police station in Delhi after 12 noon on Tuesday.
According to a report by the British media outlet BBC, three to four thousand people participated in the march. A significant number of women, along with men of different ages, also joined.
Almost everyone in the protest march is seen holding placards. The placards read several slogans – ‘Save Bengal, save Bengalis, save Sanatan!’, ‘Bangladesh, think of 1970, stop oppression! Save Bangladeshi Hindus’.
