Awami League will not be spared if involved in wrongdoing: Home Affairs Advisor warns

Secret meetings of various organizations of Awami League will not affect the overall law and order situation, said Home Affairs Advisor Lieutenant General (retd.) Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury. He told media personnel after visiting Mohammadpur Police Station in the capital on Saturday (August 2). The advisor said that the activities of Awami League have already been banned. Even after that, if they want to indulge in any misdeeds, they will not get any exemption. Even if someone from the law enforcement agencies is involved in the conspiracy, the same arrangement will be applicable to them, said Jahangir Alam Chowdhury. In response to a question from media personnel whether there is any fear in the country around August 5, the advisor said, God willing, there is no fear. I do not see any reason for fear with the way everyone is helping and cooperating. After visiting the police station, the advisor went to Rayerbazar graveyard. There, he visited the mass graves of those killed in the student uprising and prayed for the forgiveness of their souls.
