Awami League will no longer be able to do politics — LDP Secretary General
Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) Secretary General Dr. Redwan Ahmed said, there are different types of crimes, many crimes are forgivable. But crimes against humanity can never be forgiven.
He said, by sentencing Sheikh Hasina to death, the International Crimes Tribunal has once again proven that there is no forgiveness for crimes against humanity. Earlier, this tribunal had sentenced many leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami to death for crimes against humanity and war crimes. He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the Barkat Union LDP workers’ conference at Srimantapur High School ground in Chandina Upazila of Comilla on Monday (October 17) afternoon.
He said, two parties in the country are responsible for crimes against humanity. One is Awami League, the other is Jamaat-e-Islami. Sheikh Hasina’s Awami League government has punished many leaders and activists of Jamaat-e-Islami for crimes against humanity committed by Jamaat-e-Islami from the beginning of the partition to the freedom struggle. The International Crimes Tribunal has also given the same punishment to the criminals of Awami League President Sheikh Hasina and her forces as the second political party for the same crime.
Redoan also said that no other organization in this country will be able to do politics in the name of Awami League. The people of this country will no longer accept Awami League as a political party. All those who joined Awami League and voted with the boat symbol have not committed crimes against humanity. Therefore, those who have clearly followed Awami League politics and led innocent lives, now think differently. Leave Awami League politics and join other politics. At this time, he advised innocent and innocent leaders and activists of the local Awami League to join his party.
