Attempt to kill Hadi to make the country leaderless, many on hit list – Asif Mahmud

After the 24th mass uprising, the intention was to attack Inqilab Manch convener Sharif Osman Hadi, former advisor Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan has commented. After the 24th mass uprising, he further said, “The defeated forces of July are trying to intellectually bankrupt the country by killing Hadi. Many more are on the hit list of such conspiracies.” He made this comment after paying tribute to the best sons of the nation on Martyred Intellectuals Day today, Sunday (December 14).
Asif Mahmud said, “In 1971, the Pakistani occupation forces and their domestic allies tried to systematically kill intellectuals and bankrupt the country intellectually.” Even after 54 years of independence, the dreams of the martyred intellectuals have not been fully realized. Stating that many others are involved in such a conspiracy, he added, “After the 24th coup, Inqilab Manch convener Sharif Osman Hadi was attacked with the same tactic to make the country leaderless. The defeated forces of July are trying to make the country talentless by killing Hadi. Many others are on the hit list for such a conspiracy.” Warning that anti-national forces will be suppressed with a strong hand, Asif Mahmud added, “Just as the invading forces were defeated in 1971, this time too the anti-national and fascist forces will be defeated.”
