Attack inside hospital emergency department in Satkhira

An attack occurred inside the emergency department of a hospital in Kolaroa, Satkhira. The incident took place at around 8 pm on Tuesday (January 20) inside the emergency department of the Upazila Health Complex.
The first clash took place between Isarul Islam and Ripon Hossain in Langaljhara village of the upazila due to a land dispute. Later, Ripon Hossain came to the hospital for treatment. There, Isarul Islam attacked again. Earlier, Isarul Islam was injured in an attack by Ripon Hossain.
Kolaroa Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Shafiqul Islam said that when the two parties fought once outside the hospital, one of them came to seek treatment injured. At that time, the other attacked again inside the emergency department. Both were injured. One of them has been referred to Satkhira Sadar and the other to Medical College Hospital.
Kolaroa Police Station OC HM Shaheen said that there is a land dispute between them. No one has filed a complaint with the police station in this incident so far. Legal action will be taken if a complaint is received.
