Ataur Rahman Bikrampuri arrested from Narsingdi

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has announced the arrest of Maulana Ataur Rahman Bikrampuri. On Tuesday (December 23) night, the DMP’s Detective Branch (DB) arrested him from Narsingdi. This information was given by DMP’s Media and Public Relations Department Deputy Commissioner (DC) Muhammad Talebur Rahman at around 1:30 pm today (December 24).
He said that DB has arrested Ataur Rahman from Narsingdi. He was arrested at the request of Gazipur Metropolitan Police (GMP). Talebur Rahman also said that Ataur Rahman Bikrampuri has been handed over to GMP. He also said that there is a three-month detention order regarding Ataur Rahman. That is why GMP requested it. He was arrested in view of that request.
