Army chief is visiting Kuwait
A five-member delegation led by Army Chief General Waqar-uz-Zaman is going on a three-day visit to Kuwait. The team will leave Bangladesh on Sunday for a three-day visit. This information was given in a press release sent by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Saturday night.
The ISPR said that a five-member delegation led by Army Chief General Waqar-uz-Zaman is going on a three-day visit to Kuwait on Sunday. During the visit, the Army Chief will hold courtesy calls with high-ranking military and civilian officials of the Kuwaiti government and exchange views with a view to developing bilateral cooperation related to the military.
It is expected that this visit will further strengthen relations with the Kuwaiti armed forces, including recruiting skilled manpower from Bangladesh and boosting the morale of Bangladeshi members deployed in Operation Kuwait Reconstruction (OKP).
