Four units of the Fire Service tried to control the fire for about an hour and a half after receiving the information.
According to the Fire Service and local sources, a fire broke out at a jhut warehouse in the Konabari Purbapara area of ​​the city at 5:30 am today. Initially, locals tried to control the fire but failed and later informed the Fire Service. Upon receiving the information, four units of the Fire Service reached the spot and worked to control the fire.
Deputy Director of Gazipur Fire Service Mohammad Mamun said that the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage were not immediately known. However, details will be known after the investigation. A Fire Service official said that no casualties were reported in the incident.
