Another firefighter burnt in Tongi fire dies

Firefighter Nurul Huda (38), who was burnt in a fire at the warehouse of Famous Chemical Limited in Tongi, has died. He died at 2:40 pm today, Wednesday (September 24), while undergoing treatment at the National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute. The death toll has reached two.
Resident surgeon of the National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute, Shaon Bin Rahman, said, “His body was 100 percent burned.”
The deceased Nurul Huda is a resident of Gafargaon police station in Mymensingh district. He joined the fire service in 2007. He was working at the Tongi Fire Service.
Earlier, another firefighter named Shamim Ahmed (42) died on Tuesday afternoon.
It is worth noting that a fire broke out at the warehouse of Famous Chemical Limited in the Sahara Market area of ​​Tongi last Monday. A total of 5 people, including 4 members of the Tongi Fire Service, were injured in a chemical explosion while trying to extinguish the fire.
