All clinics in Asadgate-Shamoli to be inspected in 7 days: Health Minister
Health Minister Sardar Md. Sakhawat Hossain said that every clinic in the capital’s Asadgate to Shyamoli Ring Road area will be inspected in the next seven days. He said this while talking to reporters at the Secretariat on Tuesday (March 24) morning. The Health Minister said that action will be taken if any irregularities are found during the inspection.
Sardar Md. Sakhawat Hossain said, our goal is not to close. Nor to punish anyone. To provide improved services to the people. The purpose of our inspection is to ensure that people get good healthcare.
The Health Minister said, our activities will continue. There is no specific time limit for this. We have now decided to inspect the area from Asadgate to Shyamoli Ring Road. We will inspect all clinics in this area in the next seven days. Wherever irregularities are found, we will take action.
He said, taking action does not mean punishing anyone or closing them. Wherever there is an opportunity to improve (the quality of service), it will be improved. If there is any negligence, official action will be taken. The minister also opined that once the inspections begin, the remaining institutions will take precautionary measures.
